Always check where the connected portal is pointing before you jump.

Can Fireboy and Watergirl both use the exact same portal?

Yes! The crystal portals are completely safe for both characters to use. However, be careful not to push your partner back into a portal by accident when you both come out on the other side!

How do I get the heavy box to the other side of the wall?

If a heavy block is blocking your path or you need it to press a button far away, simply push it into a crystal portal. The box will teleport just like the characters do! You often have to teleport boxes to solve the hardest puzzles in the game.

What do the glowing switches do next to the portals?

Some portals are attached to special levers or buttons. By flipping a lever or standing on a button, you can actually change the color of the portal, which changes where it teleports you! You have to flip these switches at the perfect time to guide your partner to the right room.
