What do the red and green circles around players mean?

The colored borders tell you exactly who is a friend, a foe, or a snack. A green circle means that player or object is lower on the food chain, and you can eat them to gain massive XP. A red circle means that player is a higher evolution and will hunt you down. If there is no color border, you are equal evolutions and cannot harm each other.

How do I use my animal's special ability?

Once you evolve past the basic starting creatures, your animal will unlock a powerful unique skill. You can activate this skill by pressing the W Key on your keyboard. For example, a pig can fart to stun enemies, a crocodile can bite and drag prey, and a dragon can breathe devastating fireballs. Remember that every ability has a cooldown timer!

Why is my animal moving so slowly on certain parts of the map?

Every animal belongs to a specific biome. If you take a land animal into the ocean, or an arctic animal into the hot desert, you will experience a massive speed penalty and dehydrate much faster. Always try to stay within your animal's natural habitat, or look for mud patches to slide through if you need to make a quick escape.

Can I hide from apex predators like Dragons?

Yes! The map is filled with green bushes and small brown holes. If you are a smaller animal, you can run directly into these hiding spots. While you are inside a hole, larger predators cannot bite you or pull you out, making it the perfect place to rest, plan your next move, or wait for the danger to pass.
